Given our central role in society, it is important that our organisation occupies a place at its centre. We achieve this with 2,100 highly diverse and involved employees, each of whom contribute their own unique background to the process of addressing current social issues. They keep each other focused in a professional, dynamic and internationally oriented work environment, helping each other optimise their collective performance.
Development
DNB facilitates professional and personal development. Our DNB Academy offers a wealth of courses: general or specific, substantive or personal, standardised or customised. In addition, you have access to the European System of Central Banks (ESCB). The ESCB develops international collective learning programmes such as an International Meeting Skills workshop. Since practical learning is both productive and fun, we stimulate secondment, internships and ancillary societal activities. This allows us to provide added value to the outside world while sharing knowledge within the DNB organisation.
Career opportunities
At DNB, we need to continually adapt to changing demands posed by our surroundings. This offers you a wealth of opportunities. Opportunities to deepen your expertise as well as gain novel experiences. You can switch work environments within our bank, and our international context allows you to pursue your career abroad as well. It goes without saying that you have our support when it comes to shaping your career. Whether you end up staying with us for a couple of years or for the entirety of your career; you add value to DNB, and we add value to your career.
Inspiring each other
Sharing individual knowledge and experiences allows us to enrich others. This is why DNB commits to organising various activities that facilitate networking between colleagues; within a department, a division and our organisation as a whole. In addition, you can join one of our internal networks:
- DNB staff association (with various sub-associations)
- Young DNB, the network for DNB staff up to 35 years of age
- Female Capital, the network for DNB's female staff
- DNB Pride, the network for LGBTIQ+ employees.
Top Employer
We have been a recognised Top Employer since 2012. A valuable confirmation of our HR policy geared towards putting our employees first. In 2023, we were once again granted this annual certification issued by the Top Employers Institute.
Organisations certified as Top Employers commit to offering their employees the very best work environment through progressive ‘people-first’ HR practices. The independent Top Employers Institute evaluates the implementation of these HR practices by means of an elaborate investigation and assesses how they have been translated from the strategy as well as how they are supported by KPIs and technology.
